Open
University of Africa is authorized by the National Council for Higher Education
(NCHE) to operate as a privately founded university .It has students from
Africa and the world. In order to enhance the integration of education within
Africa, Open University of Africa has entered into staff, students and academic
exchange partnership with The Institute of Capacity development
(ICADInternational) As an international graduate institute of capacity Development and Qualification
awards of certificates and Diploma’s(www.eaci-icad.ac.ke).
This
partnership creates immense opportunities for students and staff of the
respective Institutions to share resources within the universities and their
respective countries which are not limited to academic programmes, lectures,
human and physical resources and opportunities for internship.

FEES STRUCTURE
EES STRUCTURE IN –USD: Tuition Fees 1,100.00(annually) - ALL
DEGREEs, All Diplomas’ Usd 600.00(annually) full course & Usd
400.00(annually) for certificate courses, Registration fees 50.00(non
refundable), SHOLARSHIPS: offered for qualifying students for up to
50%: interview and examination based.
EMBARKING
ON MASTERS AND DOCTORAL QUALIFICATION
You need access to the internet if you want
to study towards a Master’s or doctoral qualification at the Open University of
Africa (OuAonline), as everything happens online.• There
are no counters or self-help stations at any Offices for masters and doctoral
students. This means that you must apply and register online using your own
computer or a Computer at an internet café. • All
administration is handled in Uganda -Kampala - Tororo at university head
quarters and Kenya- Nairobi partners. You can contact us via e-mail at: info@Oua.ac.ug . The application form is available on the
website for download. For MBA, MBL and DBL qualifications sent email at: MD@Oua.ac.ug
COST: All masters and doctoral qualification
will cost -UGx-10,000,000.00 or USD– 4,100.00 for Full course work fee. Or ugx.3,
250,000.00 per year or USD 1,025 per year

Course
duration ranges from 4 years for medicine programmes to 3 months for foundation

Accommodation and
Catering Services:
This is available at our campuses and offers catering services on first come
first serve, this facility if optional as the university is mixed day and
boarding.
University Health Services: All students are
treated at the university Teaching and referral hospital (true vine medical
centre and EARC Health centres
Sports and recreation
facilities:
The University has play grounds, indoor games, court, modern gym, playing field
housing all other outdoor games
Laboratories: We have state of Art
Information Technology, Health and Applied Sciences Laboratories as technical
skills centres
Demonstration Farms: We have various
farms for practicals.

admission does not guarantee a place into the University for Course applied for;
this will be subject to fulfillment of all requirements and class size as
approved by the university senate.

All
applications to be addressed to the university Registrar upon payment of UGX.30,
000.00 for Ugandan applicants and US dollars 50 for all non Ugandan applicants.
Applications should be accompanied by copies of relevant academic and
